I did it! I am destined to save money and get rid of cable.. I changed my regular old TV into a Smart TV. Easy  1,2,3 steps. I purchased two Roku from QVC to receive movies through Netflix ($8) and Hulu Plus ($8) to watch my regular weekly programs. Roku carries 330+ channels. I have purchased an indoor antenna from Amazon.com to receive my local channels. Will let you know if it works out.. I will then research how to replace my internet provider. I am on my way to great savings.

I purchased this book through Amazon Kindle. It's an absolute must read if you have a teenager or teens that have problems following or respecting your rules. This book is very short and to the point. You are going to laugh inside when you see what happens to your teens attitude. I could not believe how easy it was to do nothing. Don't waste your energy on confrontations, grounding, taking away items, etc. Your teen will be surprised that you have changed your ways and they cannot manipulate you to change your mind. Enjoy and be amazed on how fast this works.As a parent, do not cave in. My Opinion - If you ignore unresolved issues, it may result in your child to adult manipulation strategies to be used as a  surviving tool in the adult world. Do your kid a favor and show them what is right.

Update on Hair Disaster

I recently went to Dillard's Aveda Salon to have my hair colored rather than my old salon.It turned out great. I would rather pay more to have it done right. When using the Shimmer Lights, when your hair is bronze or orange. Just use it three times a week. I have read alot of people using it until their hair turns blue? Stop using for a while. Your hair won't turn blonde until you have someone do it over.I have them put high and low lights. It looks more natural. I have been using Aveda Shampoo and Conditioner which has made my hair more healthy looking.

Fixing a Bad Hair Job

In January, I had my hair colored. I am a dark blonde. I wanted to be almost platinum blonde. I usually get highlights done every three months. I was trying to save money at the time and went 9 months without a haircut or color. My hair was very healthy by this time. Well, the color stylist decided to just color my hair since the highlights were burning the ends off. I knew this equalled disaster. I know the history of my hair and what color it will turn out, Orange. I told her and she said she would get it to work. She colored my hair two times plus she put a toner on it. By this time my scalp was burning. I was upset and knew I just wouldn't be going to her again. I started researching how to get orange or bronze out of hair. Clairol Shimmer Lights Shampoo and Conditioner. It's BLUE! and after a week of use, the color toned down. It's time again and who do I trust to do my hair. You as a customer can demand a refund back on a bad hair job and tell the manager. This lady didn't know what she was doing. Even a few of her co-workers were telling her what she should have used. Wish me Luck!!!
